Just about everyone has been though a major life change at one point or another, right? Mine was on Eastbound 80. Sometimes it can take weeks or even months to write a song. Other times, it feels as if the song has been there all along, waiting for the right time to appear. “Eastbound 80? was there waiting for me. Back to my roots, Chicago-bound, and ready to start, the lyrics were written on the road during my move from Denver to Chicago. The final verse came at daybreak:
“Eastbound 80, I realize | The earth will spin, the sun will rise
And on the highway at the break of dawn | I’m letting go, and moving on.”
We want to thank all of you who come to our shows and listen to, support, and spread the word about our music!
